Makgromart respects your privacy and handles personal information in line with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023.

What we collect

• When you order: your name, phone number, and if you give them your email and delivery address, with what you ordered and what you paid.
• When you subscribe or send us a message: your name, email, phone number if you give it, and your message.
• When you visit: we count visits and which kind of website sent you here (for example a search engine or social media). These counts do not say who you are. Your browser also keeps your cart, so it is still there when you come back.

How we use it

• To deal with your order: send your price, confirm payment, arrange delivery and keep you updated.
• To keep the business's accounts, as the law requires.
• To send you our newsletter and offers, only if you asked for them.
• To understand how many people use the website, so we can improve it.

Who else handles it

We do not sell your information. We use trusted services to run the website: Google Firebase (where orders are stored), Brevo and EmailJS (which send our emails), Cloudinary (product photos) and WhatsApp (when you message us). They only use your information to provide their service to us.

How long we keep it

Orders and payments are kept for as long as Nigerian tax law requires us to keep business records. Newsletter and enquiry details are kept until you ask us to remove them.

Your choices

• Every newsletter has an unsubscribe link.
• You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it (except what we must keep for our accounts).
